There are great things happening in the life of our church!

Where we’ve been…

The Pastor Nominating Committee has been working hard to hire StoneBridge’s next Senior Pastor - Head of Staff and is excited to announce our nomination, soon. In June of 2019, the Pastor Nominating Committee (PNC) was elected by our congregation. Since then, the PNC created what’s known as a Ministry Information Form (MIF). The MIF outlined the position and described our church and congregation. The position was then promoted within our denomination as well as outside it, by using churchjobs.com and indeed.com. The PNC received over 150 applications. Of those, 44 applications were reviewed and vetted. Multiple interviews were then conducted with 11 qualified applicants. Like many other areas in our lives, the Covid-19 pandemic inevitably prolonged StoneBridge’s hiring process. Thank you for your patience. What’s next?

Please, make a special effort to attend online worship on October 3rd & 4th, where you'll hear the nominee’s candidating sermon. Then on Sunday, Oct 4 @ 11am there will be a congregational meeting on Zoom, to officially extend the call to our church's next Senior Pastor - Head of Staff and approve the terms of call. It’s important to register for this meeting in advance, so please register by clicking here.
