This Week in WORSHIP
Becoming Who We Are Destined to Be: Gentleness
Winnie the Pooh is so lovable that it doesn’t seem right to say he suffers from impulsivity with obsessive fixations. But, it’s hard to argue with this assessment. Pooh is obsessed with honey and will do whatever it takes, including putting himself and his friends at risk, to get it. Like Winnie the Pooh, we all have at least one area in our lives in which we suffer from impulsivity and perhaps, risk our own welfare or the welfare of others, to satisfy our fixations. This weekend in worship, Pastor Neal addresses what is conceivably the most challenging of virtues - self-control- and provides sound, biblical guidance on how to nurture it in our own lives.
